Ragz Dressware, Carlsbad

I `found' Ragz a few years ago on holiday from United Kingdom. I holiday every year in Carlsbad and visit the shop every time. I think its amazing! The prices are so resonable and the clothing fantastic. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. I always pick up a bargain to bring back to the Uk and all my friends ask me where I have got them from. It is great to wear something that no one else has got here ! `I SHALL RETURN' WELL DONE RAGZ !!!!!

I don't like being up-sold, since I myself have been in retail for YEARS but these ladies are great. They run around picking out things that could work, and if not, bam they take it right out for me! I don't even have to think for myself, they do the work for me! It's nice to go into a clothing boutique and find unique pieces for a fraction of the cost anywhere else. Let's face it, I have clothes from BCBG Max Azaria and Rock & Republic Jeans, it doesn't matter the brand, things are going to shrink & fall apart on occasion. If you're going out and need a quick cute outfit, Ragz is a great place to walk into!

The first time I went in this shop, I just wanted to find ONE pair of shorts, so I grabbed a pair, and then i have a sales girl pretty much open my entire dressing room curtain to give me things to try on. I didn't of course, and the sales people there were just way to pushy that i got irritated and walked out. I thought I would give it another chance, and went back at a later date, and again, really really pushy. We all know what we want to try on and don't, so i think this store should really stop pushing us to try on more. I think if your business is very good at customer service and acknowledging the customer, then that is great, but do not follow us around like you are our puppy dog. It is very annoying. The second time i went there, I did not even want to try anything more on that i actually thought was cute, because they were just so pushy at everything.

So whenever I run out of luck at lame places at the mall i go here because there isnt one thing that is alike. Obviously some people will think its not trendy but thats because they are preps who dont appreciate boho style.

I L.O.V.E this pllace they have the cutest clothing, the best style & the friendliest employes! I can NOT wait to go back! Near Ragz are really good places to grab a bight to eat. SO after you finnish your shopping expedition you can settle down with a reat burger or go to the beach and realax!

I love the clothes here so much and how the staff helps you find items that look great on you that you might not pick out yourself!!! but i only come down there during July on vacation and i wish there was a way to shop online!!!!

Okay, so I work in the fashion insudstry and heard this store and how wonderful it is. So, of course I wanted to check it out. The clothing there really is a rip off. and their return policy isn't very fair. The clothes fall apart after you wash it once and of course they won't let you return washed items. The shoes there fall apart too. The girls there seem nice, but I felt like they were just trying to sell to me rather than to help me. I think the store's kind of crowded, and not really as trendy as they think they are.

The sales people are friendly & very helpful. They will help pick out clothes that are best suited for your build. It's like having a personal shopper! The prices are reasonable & the clothing is high-fashion. This store never fails!

This store is such a rip off!!!! So what if they only get one shipment of things...if you go to any mall in Southern California EVERYTHING Ragz carries is in all of the cheapist stores!!! Its all from the garmet district in LA where every store buys from. Check out Closet in Oceanside, Forever 21, Styles for Less...way better prices on the exact same things (shoes, clothes and especially accessories!) Its the exact same manufacturer, and the exact same product!! And the people who work at the other stores don't harass you to buy the entire store like the people at Ragz!!!! The owners are the rudest people ever and the girls who work there annoy you to buy things you didn't even pick out and things you don't even like. The other boutiques in the Village are higher priced, but you will find designer labels unlike at Ragz!!! Save yourself some cash and go elsewhere!

When I walked into this place I thought it was going to be another one of those overpriced stores for only the rich and famous. Come to find out the woman working there was extremely polite and the clothes were affordable and of great quality. Most of the styles and colors I saw in this place I have not seen anywhere and they were awesome! I wish there was a website or catalog to buy from...I live near Boston and can't go to California every time I want to shop...
