Bazaar del Mundo, San Diego

Poiwers, the owner of the Bazaar moved all the stores to a new location, and it's just not the same anymore. All the same goods are for sale, but it isn't the same fiesta feeling it had a year ago when I visited.

I thought Bazaar del Mundo was great my whole family had a greta time. The shops are fun and filled with great culture. The Resterants are fantastic. Every time we visit San Diego, Bazaar del Mundo is a must with our family!!!!!!!

My wife and I took our spring break '05 in San Diego. Of course, we had a great time, it's a fabulous city. But We loved Bazaar del Mundo so much we came a second time on our last day to buy the things we didn't want to carry around or store in the hotel room. We are lovers of Latin Americana, and this unique venue has so much to captivate the senses (and the credit card!) We made several purchases of art, ate and drank in a 175-year-old Spanish hacienda, and soaked up the intoxicating sights, sounds, and aromas of another era. Bazaar del Mundo and Old Town in general have plenty to offer.

My absolute favorite place to go in San Diego! The food is wonderful, the historic park is excellent. It is so great to go in all the wonderfuls shops and then eat outside with so much going on-great people, great food. So much to see. I was there on the Day of the Dead and everything was amazing, fresh altars and a great oportunity to take pictures. Especially a great place to take children. A great experience
