Cindy's Swimwear, Carlsbad

My trip to Cindy's Swimwear was the first time I've ever been treated to a quality bathing suit shopping experience. The owner and her assistant made it easy, fast, and efficient by bringing me several selections within the parameters I gave them: D cup but not plus-size band, underwire, clasp back and no skinny string ties. They have a decent inventory of large-cup bikini tops, and I'd give them five stars if there were more variety in color and pattern, but the styles were quite flattering. The prices were high, but they are what is to be expected of a store where the owner grabs exactly what you want off the rack and is happy to give you tips on how to wear it and care for it. I really appreciated the personal attention, even though there were a few other customers browsing the store. She didn't make me feel as if I were being followed or guarded, just assisted. If there were more selection of off-size tops or a few sale items I'd be all over the five stars. Thanks Cindy's!

i love this place. I go back every spring looking for the right suit and always find one!!! they are so nice and take the time to really help you. You should go and try on all the suits you can til you find the right one...I did and I am sooo happy, can't wait to go to the pool with the kidos and my friends...they will be so surprised by how hot I look, shoot I know I am :)

Selection was awesome....customer service was absolutely horrible. I specifically told the sales associate that I wanted to take 2 suits home to get my husband's opinion on which he like best and would definitely be returning one. I asked if they do returns with tags on. She said yes of course and never mentioned that they only do store credit or exchanges. When I came back to return one bikini, the lady said we don't do returns, it says on your receipt and she proceeded to repeat herself over and over. Of course I told her how would I know that if I don't get a receipt until I make a purchase. I was very frustrated and she had no intention of listening to why I was mislead into thinking they would return the suit.

Cindy's Swimwear is the perfect shop for cruise and vacation goers! i was leaving for my cruise and i procrastinated till the day before to get my suits! luckily a friend told me about cindy's swimwear. when i got there i was greeted by young salesgirl who definaltly knew her stuff not only i was i suited up perfectly, she also got me set with all the extras i would need for my cruise. coverups, sarongs, sandals, sun dresses, beach bags, sun hats, and even sun lotions! it was perfect for my cruise! i wore something from this store each day of my trip!! i would highly recommend this adorable boutique to anyone going on vacay!

I am a carlsbed local and i always go to cindy's. they have great employees that are a great help and make sure you get the best suit. i have never gone in looking for a suit and come out with nothing. although i must say, there are so many cute suits, i have trouble choosing. another thing i like about this store is that it only sells swimwear so you know what youre getting when you walk in. also, it is a small small small store, which is a nice change, and you dont get overwhelmed. i highly reccomend this store if you are a local looking for a suit, or a tourist, wanting to find a quick way to get a suit somewhere in dowtown carlsbad.

I loved this place because all of their bathing suits are totally hip and hott, they last a long time, they might be a little pricy, but it is worth it.

I've been shopping here for over 10 years, but I won't go back again. It's great if your swimsuit doesn't have a problem...but at these prices you expect a suit to last at least the summer not 2 weeks, and when it falls apart they refuse to even exchange the bottoms, I never tried to get my money back, just wanted any even exchange, but they wouldn't do anything for me.

Cindy's is great for selection, but any problem with the purchase and it is "Too bad, so sad, we can't do anything about that" After paying $90 for a suit and wearing it only 3 times, they refused to take care of an obvious manufacturers defect. I won't shop here again. I think they are banking on tourist trade and feel they don't need to worry about returns!

the only problem with cindy's swimwear is that it is pretty darn pricy. but other than that, they have some of the cutest stuff i've seen in a long time
