Named by the late, great singer Jim Croce, Croce's Restaurant & Jazz Bar is an ideal place for people-watching, while enjoying live jazz entertainment. From time to time, the late performer's son (now known in his own right), pops in with his friends to jam. The food is good, unpretentious American and you cannot go wrong with the selection of steaks and seafood, particularly the Grilled Ahi or Swordfish. Dinner entrees range from USD24.95 - 32.95.

Great even if you don't like Jim Croce's music!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/05/08
I saw an ad in the San Diego trolley tour bus and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is great. Outside dining area is surprisingly quiet. The jazz bar supplies plenty of great music to listen to as you dine. When not playing, Jim Croce's greatest hits are piped in. The food was out of this world. Kudos to the chef. I had the grouper while my girlfriend had the salmon. All in all, a great place to visit when in the San Diego area.

I had one of the best filet mignon steaks in my life here! Great place to people watch and enjoy a glass of wine. It was well worth the walk from our hotel and the money spent. The waitstaff were very helpful and accomodating.

Don't expect alot.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/13/05
I liked that they did not serve Chilean SeaBass, they served New Zealand--cool--Chilean endangered and all. However, Saturday night 9pm seating and alone one remaining--weak. Order the Halibut--weak again on cold vege's.

Discovered this place over 10 years ago; it's a lot of fun! Small dance floor but great music and atmosphere!
