Jamba Juice, San Diego

What a horrible experience. Today, March 10, 2008, the Jamba Juice on Governor Drive had a "soft" opening and offered free drinks to those who came in. Apparently, in addition to those in line, they had also sent out invitations for the surrounding area. When I was next in line with my 4 young children, we were told that only people with invitations would now be let in. What a HOAX!!!! I was also told that if I wanted a smoothie, that I could go the the nearest Jamba Juice and buy one at Clairemont Square. Hmmmmmm, not one single store front has been successful in this location. It was a mexican food place, a hamburger place, Persian food, Italian food and a Carvel just to name a few. With this kind of practice in a very small community, they may not be around too long either. Rather than ride bikes down for a smoothie with the kids, we'll get in the car and drive a few extra miles to Robeks for excellent customer service. Very poor service in University City......San Diego, CA
