Indian Canyons, Palm Springs

The canyons are a good place to go for a hike, even on hot day's. There are oasis' to explore, and you can almost hear nature talking to you. Serene and quiet.

This place is so beautiful; lots of lush palm groves with running water. Different length hikes. An absolute must! Enjoy the picnic tables in the cool shade of the palm groves. Lots of fun for the kids too to run around in the creek.

Waterfalls in the Desert. How is it I lived in Palm Springs a couple of years before my girlfriend at the time took me to Taquitz. Wow when the water runs it is a good place to cool off and see nature.

I love this place, its beautiful. A total oasis in the desert. definately worth it. I go every year at least once. Its best in the early spring and after a good year of snow so that there is plenty of waterfall!!!!

Unless you've already been to a palm oasis in the middle of the desert, it's worth the experience. But like many places, it's the people (and the way that they do their job) that made for most of the highest and lowest points: Highest Points - The tribal-ranger tour up Andreas Canyon/oasis: without this tour the Indian Canyons experience would have had far less significance. Learning about the geography, history, and nature was WELL worth the few extra dollars! - Palm Canyon was great place for a jog and a picnic. Lowest Points - Grouchy lady taking money at the front gate. (Three days in a row!) - Hostess at visitor center had practically no knowledge about the canyons--guessed (wrongly) at answers to basic questions regarding the local trails and oases.

we go to palms springs once a month, for the past year. the indian canyons had to be one of the best things we have done there.

Indian canyons is a must go place when you are visiting Palm springs. Overall it is a very beautiful and peaceful area. My wife and I enjoyed the Andreas Canyon trail, as it was very scenic with flowing water, trees and adventurous path. Also, we liked the Warm springs in Palm canyon. Group of Palm trees there was a visual delight. Only con: they charge 8 USD per adult.

You get the feeling you are going back in time. Even though it was 110, we really enjoyed it. Anyone who likes to hike or view nature up close will like it.

Loved everything about the canyons.The canyon are not for the light of heart. You will hike some beautiful ,but difficult trails.But , the trais do offer something for everyone.

it is a beautiful place and a great place to hike and get away from everyday life, just call and make sure there is lots of water running in the stream to cool off with
