Not everyone may want to admit to taking a celebrity tour, but the seats are consistently full on this entertaining, narrated bus tour past houses of the famous. Tour A is one and a half hours long and passes around 30-40 celebrity homes. Tour B lasts two and a half hours and includes stargazing and adds some additional country clubs and the Frank Sinatra estate.

Read my review not the one before!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/16/10
Chuck took a group of strangers and he became our friend by the time the tour was over. His great anecdotal description of landmarks in Palm Springs was entertaining and his descriptions of his experiences really added to the fun of the tour. Unfortunately you cannot see inside the gates of most of the homes but Chuck had entertained with his Dixiland band at many of the stars' homes and was able to fill in the background. You have to have someone with the gift of the gab to lead this tour because of the limited ability to actually see into the grounds. I think the stories were true but even if they weren's, it was a great way to spend a couple of hours!

DO NOT SPEND THE MONEY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/11/09
The driver was about 300lbs and was eating during the tour. The equipment was old and dirty and you could not see anything. I should have driven my car. Do wast your time or money! What a let down.

I can't see through tall brick walls
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/10/09
This tour is a complete waste of money. With a little asking around town you can get this same info for absolutely free. The tour lady kept saying she was going to take us "Up close and personal" but it never appeared. She zoomed by the houses and was pointing in so many different directions that I never really knew where to look. Every home had a large brick wall. If you really want to see a great Celebrity Tour than you must go to Beverly Hills/Hollywood, here you will be able to at least make out that it is indeed a home. As for the driver/tour lady she was very rude. I do NOT recommend this tour. Save you're money and ask around. The church that Bono had his memorial service is on Ramon Rd. and the cemetery where both Bono and Sinatra were laid to rest is also on Ramon Rd. and the corner of Da Vall Drive. It is called the Palm Springs Cemetery and you can go up to the office and get a paper that tells you where all the stars are buried at this cemetery. Hope this was helpful.

So deceiving
By TM, 02/25/09
It was so frustrating! Most the time, we didn't know what house or houses she was talking about, and by the time we went buy them, we missed them or didn't know whos house it was becasue she was onto talking about someone elses house. So frustrating as we had family from out of town, and they kept looking at us like what did she say? What house- whos house is this? We decided next time we will do what others have suggested- just drive up into the streetes she took us on, ourselves, and walk around. Some houses have little plaques that show who has lived there, like Lily Tomplin or Liberace. Liked info on dates and history- but couldn't tell you anything much more- lots of wasted time on first hour and felt cheated.

Outstanding Tour!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/08/09
We have not done the celebrity tour for six years - it was fantastic and we were pleased to see that anne is still the tour guide. She packs the trip with interesting antecdotes and stories - the hoursimply flies by. One the best values around! We will do it again.

BEWARE: Tour has changed
By earlyberly, 10/06/08
I really enjoyed taking this tour a couple of years ago, however, I just took it again and a big fat man did the tour and he delighted in the raunchy aspects of the stars' lives. I'll never go again. Would suggest no one should.

Fat woman Guide walking with a Cane & Driving????
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/07/08
We "raced" liked mad through the homes especially in that Movie Colony area in the North Part of Palm Springs, the Fat Woman should be a Race Driver, she could hardly walk much less drive 38 people in tha old dirty junk bus all over the area!

Excellent
By barb, 06/05/08
The tour itself was excellent, the tour guide very knowledgeable. Put forget the Date Shake, we had lots of date shakes on our trip in 08 and this one was the worst.

Introducing us to Palm Springs
By Michael G, 03/28/08
Great guide who was funny, informative and passionate about the area. He is a professional musician and has played in many of the stars' homes. We are residents of the area entertaining an out-of-town guest, and we learned a tremendous amount about the place we live. We heartily recommend the tour.
