Description

Located in the Plaza La Quinta shopping center, this abundantly stocked used bookstore has volumes in all categories. Savvy visitors will check the non-fiction section for local interest books on the desert, local flora and fauna, and the history of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley area. Most books are half (or less) of the original cover price. The store is located in upscale La Quinta. Many of the books are gently read and are recent or current best sellers.

I love this store

I love recycling my books. We take a box in to sell and shop while they figure out our credit. We always leave with a box of books to read and feel great because we haven't spent an arm and a leg to enjoy our favorite past time.

Just what I was looking for..

I love this store. It has everything and the owner, Holly, knows every book in her store. Just ask for an author or title and she will know exactly where it is, or if she doesn't have it. She can always get it for you. It has a very pleasant atmosphere. There's a chair at every nook. Romance, Western, Thriller's, etc. I will only buy my books there.

A wasted day..

My husband and I drove 1 1/2 hrs. just to check this book store out, due to the ad. It was quite disappointing. The image it has the eye of the beholder perceive is not the reality of what it is. This store is 90% fictious paperbacks. With an exceptional 10% of nonfictional paperbacks. If your looking for exquisite nonfiction books, or a selection of genre and variety, you're going to the wrong place.
