Zuma Beach, Malibu

Obviously, whoever wrote this has never been to a Gulf coast beach in Florida. The sand at Zuma is nowhere close to being white. The water is a disgusting color. It's also impossible to get a tan. The parking fee is way too much. I'll take the Emerald Coast over the Golden coast any day. If you want to see beautiful beaches, go to Florida.

First, it can be SO crowded... If you are coming from the conejo valley area, the traffic can be backed up all the way to the beginning of the mountain road. Also, parking is now raised to $10!!! They changed it this summer! It's such a rip off. Next, the beaches are FILLED with seaweed, which attract those tiny flys that annoy you the whole entire time. And, there are dead jellyfish all over the shoreline. WHO CLEANS IT ALL UP??????? The water and waves are enjoyable though, when there isn't tons of seaweed floating in the water. The waves can be very good. Also, the bottom of the ocean floor can be very rocky which is not good. All in all, zuma can be fun when there isn't many people, the beach is cleaned up, and the weather is good. Sometimes it can be very windy, which makes it seem cold. Also, at the front where you pay for the parking lot, the people that work there close the gates whenever they feel like, leaving the person at the front of the line, who has waited for 1 hour to get in, hopeless! HOW RUDE IS THAT! everyone don't go to zuma!!! go to laguna, newport, hunnington, manhattan, so many more BETTER beaches.

Dolphins swimming around us while we surf in clear blue water...the best beach, period.

The beach sand is close to the parking lot which makes it very user-friendly for those of us who have a lot of beach stuff to carry with us. I have been to many beaches in Southern California over the years (Coronado, Laguna Beach, Salt Creek, Bolsa Chica, Seal Beach, and Long Beach), and I must say that this is very popular for a reason with many young adults, families with children and folks who just want a respite from the city.

We visited this beach and had so much fun! Not only was it beautiful but clean! It wasn't overly crowded either. Everyone had a great time!

Zuma is a perfect break from the fast paced life of Los Angeles. If you are looking for a place that the locals hang out this is the place. Very quiet and clean. There is also lot to look at from million dollar homes to dolphins swimming close to shore.

The beach looks wonderful, the atmosphere is quiet yet so comfortable, and it is really clean. You can do bodyboard or just lay down enjoying the sun tanning. What a beach !

i really liked this beach because it wasn't that windy and the beach wasn't that bad. the water is kind of cold but you get used to it really fast. i don't really like the other beaches in california because they are always crowded and the waves aren't that great. but this place has great waves and isn't very crowded sumtimes. i luv it!

I Love this beach!! Every time we go there we always see dolphins!! I think it is a great beach for the family!! I recommend it to everyone!!
