This golf club offers golfers a respite from the rigors of everyday life. The par-71 course spans 6,700 yards. The 35-acre reservoir is beautiful and peaceful to look at and the waterfalls around the course will make you feel like you are in Hawaii or some other tropical locale. Jim Lipe designed this championship course that is suitable for both beginners and pros. The clubhouse is a popular hangout complete with a cozy fireplace.

Great course, great food.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/10/09
I came to this course on a recommendation by a friend, and he didn't lead me astray! This course was great. It really isn't forgiving of bad shots, but it makes you play smarter golf. The food was great in the club house and the service was nice. All in all, I would go back again when I'm in the area. Two thumbs up!

awful course, awful customer "service"
By leer, 04/02/09
We booked tee times over the internet. When we got to the course we were notified that they were aerating the greens that day and oh, by the way, they were understaffed so the back 9 was closed. We'd have to play the front 9 twice. No refunds, no rainchecks - no remorse. The greens were predictably awful and to add insult to injury, there was a guy watering the ninth green while we were trying to play it! we were literally ON the green, trying to putt, and this joker is hosing down 5 feet from us. The front nine is ridiculously easy and there isn't much to look at. worst course i've played in southern california. It gets a full star because the chicken sandwich I had at the "turn" was damn delicious.

STOP! Don't waist your time or $$$
By Sera, 10/28/08
Great club house and driving range. The rest is border line unethical since they don't tell you that conditions are horrid! The only thing green are the greens. The fairways are either too dried or too wet. There are also many spots that don't have any grass. I have played $30 golf courses that are in better condition!

Watch out for the traps
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/19/06
I came out to California from Tennesee after winning the trip on a game show. On the first day of the trip, I took my buddy (God rest his soul) Lonny out for a round of golf. The place was just beautiful with that amazingly manicured green grass you see in professional tournaments. Palm trees and creeks and flowers, wow. But they didn't tell us about the hazards and my buddy Lonny (God rest his soul) walked into quicksand. He sank about 3 feet immediately and then slowly sank the rest of the way. I held out my 3 wood for him to grab (My driver is too expensive to risk damaging) but gravity was too strong. We had three golfers from the group behind us as well as the marshall, the club pro, and an off duty fireman all trying to help Lonny. Unfortunately, Lonny didn't make it and we gave him a nice funeral right there on the grounds (The golf course did it "pro bono" as they say because they felt so darned bad about it). It was sad but the course was beautiful and challenging. I shot well that day, finally ending with a 4 over par 75. Could have shot better but my 3 wood was a bit warped after the quicksand incident. So I would say, absolutely play there if you've got the cash but I'd stay out of the sand and wear some of those big snow shoes if you've got some.

Lots of mosquitos and bees
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/24/06
Don't like all the bugs, knats, bees, mosquitos in the summer and even seen a snake!! Price is out of control for those kind of conditions. The restarant is very good if you want to just go have breakfast or lunch. It is really a great atmosphere.
