With some of the best ocean views from a golf course around, it is rather remarkable that this is a reasonably priced public course. Although most people remember this spot for its panoramas, it is also an above average course (especially for a municipal), offering diverse holes all the way through. As one might expect, the locale and price make this course very popular, so call long in advance to make reservations and expect to have a long game.

Great course for your money.

Maybe better fairways but overall a beautiful scenery course. The greens are tough but always trust that the putt will always break away from the mountain and towards the ocean. I learned the hard way.
 
 
 
 
 
Relaxing and enjoyable

I really enjoyed being greeted with friendly faces and warm smiles. Even the patrons whom I played with were fun and delightful. For anyone looking for a beautiful view and a relaxing yet challenging game of golf -Los verdes Golf and Country club is the place for you. Very Nice

This is a very nice course, for a muni. It is always kept in good condition and features several challenging holes, including my favorite, the 189 yard par 3 5th; a cunning one-shotter fronted, slightly right, with a very deep bunker, and featuring a severely sloped (back to front)green. The driving range at Los Verdes is more than adequate and the two practice putting greens are very good. This is likely one of the best, if not the best, golfing bargains in all of Southern California.
