The museuem is closed because the Orange County bureaucrats throw a temper tantrum and closed it when the museum volunteers refused to become a County regiment.
The place was not open when I went to visit. In fact, it was not open on several attempts to see the inside of the little museum. They don't seem to have regular days, much less regular hours of operation.
they were so nice and helpfull. the docents were so informative. the museum is small, but it has tons of interesting and fun things. its great for kids and adults alike.
