Hollywood Walk of Fame, Los Angeles

I live 45 min from Hollywood and admit its not called "Hollywierd" for no reason but ITS AMAZING TO GO DURING EVENTS, SUCH AS I TOOK MY KIDS TO SEE THE RED CARPET SCREENING OF FINAL DESTINATION 5, WHICH WAS AWESOME, At nights No its not to approropriate to take little kids but you can, Hollywood is Hollywood and never know what to expect like recently went waliking around with Transformer and Superman,Shrek, and many more characters for the kids to see.Chinese Theater is Beautiful and just go when somethings goin on for a better experience.

I hate to say this but I took my kids to the Hollywood walk of Fame, It was nice to see some of the celebrity stars, but I didn't take my kids to see people begging for food or money and it seems like every other store was a adult store. I will never take my kids to this area again...doesn't the city have enough money to clean this place up?

The stars are great, but the place is run down and dirty, people trying to sell you drugs, a bunch of junk shops, you mean to tell me they charge the stars to have their stars on the walk, and upkeep, what upkeep, ???, cracked dirty walks, garbage everywhere, then in Beverly Hills a few miles away it is very clean and up kept, the Stars should be complaining, whats up Hollywood, get your act together !!!!

I will say this yeah dont get caught on the wrong back street in hollywood and yes its not a place for kids, once the sun sets. But, yes hollywood has a lot to do and needs much work but thats every tourist town in America. Hollywood is for the rich and the hopeless and nothing like the movies which city is just like the movies? None. So if your an adult with friends not from Idaho that has already labeled california as a rough state with heathins runnin around you will have fun, looking at the stars, drinking at the bars, buying adult things, and seeing adult things. I will be back to walk the stars and get pictures with my frineds having fun and the hollywood sign from the kodak spot. If your not ready to be around crazies and beggers dont go..... Cant take the heat get out the kitchen!

I enjoyed taking my family during the day. My kids enjoying looking for the celebrities they knew on the walk. The souvenir shops are really cool. It's Hollywood, oh and by the way the museums are also cool.

I've seen the Hollywood Walk of Fame on TV, but in real life to see them is totally cool. It was fun to look for all of the people that I like. We took pictures for our scrap book. It is a MUST DO!!

The whole area is nothing like you would expect its all kittle junk shops and a ton of "adult" stores. Way too many people in the tourist area and as soon as you get a little out of it, the area does not seem very safe. Dont miss going to this place but dont think its going to be super great.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame was something to do once in your life. The thrill of seeing the names and stars of the famous and not so famous was a kick. Unfortanetly the area is rundown, dirty and crowded. Aside from the chinese theatre, some tourist museums and the shopping center,all that is left was souvineer stands, tatoo parlors and people dressed as cartoon charecters looking for tips. It was extremely crowded, but the people watching was one of the best parts.

It was a lot of fun walking famous Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street. There are lots of interesting things to see and people are more friendly than I expected. I really enjoyed taking pictures of my favorite Walk of Fame stars. Here's a tip: Pick up a copy of The Walk of Stars Map and Directory in one of the souvenir shops. It tells where to find each star on the sidewalk and a little about each person who has a star. It sure is a lot easier than wandering around for hours trying to find your favorite stars, because there a lot more than you think. While you're there eat at the historic Pig'n Whistle or Musso and Frank Grill. There are beautiful old theaters like the Pantages and the Egyptian. (We wouldn't have known where to find these places if we hadn't bought a Walk of Stars Directory.) The area is really looking good again, especially since the Kodak theater and the Highland Center are there now. I'll never forget the experience. It's a must see for movie buffs and fans of Hollywood!

I was so excited to be on the Walk of Fame!!! It was so fun to spot the stars of such big celebrities!! I loved it!!!
