Which building is the show gona be held at?
By John, 12/08/09
I agree with the other reviewer that commented about the Crystal Cathedral. We went there to see the Glory of Christmas. Got inside the parking lot, no attendants to guide us. Once we stepped out to go to the show, there were poor directions to direct us to the place. The box office was on the other side of the building, we couldn't tell where the heck it was taking place. I would say the best seats are on the south balcony facing the stage. Being up on the balcony lets u see the whole view of the stage. Albeit being far from minute details of stage area, it was still a good spot to be. At a cheap price too. It was funny how they use all live animals, it backfired when a horse took a big dump on stage and the smell permeated the place. All in all, recap -poor directions to the show - poor lighting around the show area. -live animals comes with risks. - south balcony(facign the stage) is one of the best alternative sitting area aside from floor level seatings. - ASTHMA people out there..they use a lot of stage mists/smoke so be careful, TAKE YOUR INHALERS.

What a Disappointment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/31/08
Attended the Christmas Show. The cathedral was not lit outside, which should have been inspiring. The grounds were rather dark which was unsafe. The inside was industrial looking. Was surprised to learn afterward that the buiding was designed by Phillip Johnson, but his stuff is either good or quirky. I was very disappointed. Didn't think it worth the money. Magnifcent Christianity Missed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/06/05
(See above. also) Been there six times from Alaska and have come away inspired by God's word, Dr Shuller's message, the music and guests each time. We have seen their holiday productions sveral times and benefitted immensely from the Spirit of each season. We have taken our grandchildren for thr spiritual experience. The bookstore has also been a special attraction. Besides our home church, we have supported financially the Cathedral while it's services were on Alaska television--they stopped and so did our support. We miss the positive Christian inspiration of the Crystal Cathedral very much.
