Compelling and versatile, The Orange County Center For Contemporary Art, (OCCCA), located in the Santa Ana Artists Village, is an arts institution consistently exhibiting work that is potent and dynamic,
and a viewer friendly feast for the eyes.
Whether the vast OCCCA exhibition space is displaying large group exhibitions or a show with a minimal amount of artwork, there is always
an interesting theme and a variety of multi-media works to be viewed and enjoyed by all.
The Gallery staff are friendly and knowledgeable and happy to educate
the public on all aspects of the exhibitions and on Occca itself.
In addition I have been to several of the Eclectic Music Concerts held
monthly at OCCCA site. These concerts are free and feature a variety of local and visiting bands. It was a unique and entertaining experience to enjoy both the music and the artwork at the same time / venue.
I highly recommend visiting OCCCA whether you are living locally or commuting from out of town. I also recommend checking out an
Eclectic Music Concert held monthly at Occca throughout the year.
Rotating shows each month. One will find intriguing and exceptional shows of contemporary art in many mediums exploring many themes that are relevant to current trends in art and to the world at large. A huge beautiful art gallery.

Twenty-five years after its inception, the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art is still fulfilling its mission to provide an exhibition venue for emerging and mid-career artists wishing to share their work and their various expertise with other artists and the community at large. To that end, the center stages worthwhile exhibits year round that may not always appeal to popular tastes but instead offers food for thought and overall quality art. Entrance is free, the center is conveniently located in the artist village in Santa Ana, so one can and should visit as often as possible. The first Saturdays are opening night and offer fun and enlightenment.
