Wild Rivers Water Park, Irvine

I write this review purely as a warning. WR is a great place to enjoy your summer. We have been season pass holders for years. Lately, the customer base has changed drastically. Crime within the park has started occurring. The security staff is ill equipped to handle it. Do not for any reason leave unattended bags in the children's area of the park(river area), This is where the thieves are targeting. It is not just petty theft. They steal the obvious.......wallets, ipods, cash,etc. THEY ALSO STEAL CARS. The cameras in the parking lot don't work. They take the car keys out to the lot and just start pressing until they find it. They took mine one afternoon between 3 and 5 PM two weeks after stealing four or five other peoples personal bags. My car ended up stripped in Santa Ana. SAPD does not even print the cars when recovered so the thieves can steal with impugnity. I grew up in SA so I can tell you that the gang tattooed guys I saw at WR that day were from Santa Ana. Use a locker even if you only bring car keys into the park. My bag only had a small amount of cash and car keys. They like Chevys.....big ones,....trucks, suburbans, avalanches and tahoes. Good Luck and stay attentive

i like all the rides but it is kinda expensiveeee......

Last Thursday I went to wild rivers, and it was awesome! The rides were so cool and the staff there are so nice! Wild rivers is a safe and fun place. They really know how to have fun and still be safe! But watch out for this one ride, The Congo Rapids. This ride is scary! It flips you backwards! But, it is an awesome water park.

We had a good time. Good price. The workers are okay. Only problem when you have young children is the teenagers that feel the own the place and bully them around in lines for tubes etc. Keep an eye out for them.

We called ahead as a family group to get the group rate details and were given prices and promises of services ahead of time. When we (all 29 of us) got there and tried to purchase our tickets the story and prices suddenly changed. After ten long and very frustrating minutes of back and forth they finally honored what they had told us on the phone. The customer service was lacking to say the least. It was a VERY BAD way to start a family fun day. The water park was fun, but very expensive. They nickle and dimed you everywhere!! There was nice area for the smaller children to play. Good family atmosphere. All in all we had a good day, but we were very disappointed that it had such a bad start. Beware of what you are told. Get names and get things in writing.

This waterpark is the greatest waterpark anywhere! I really recommend it to anyone! They have great customer service! Wildrivers is AMAZING! Anyone who can go, should!

this waterpark is kid friendly and is a exciting water park. it is great for adults to. with huge slides and great pools. i highly recommend this water park!!!!!!!!!!!

living in orange county we have access to many good water parks, however, this is the only one that gives a break to us seniors. other parks charge admission to everyone, wild rivers lets the seniors in free. i take my granddaughter for the day and never get wet. she loves the park and is getting a season pass this year. thanks wild rivers! so all you seniors, pack up the grandkids and head for wild rivers.

This is the best water park i've been too! I get my Nephew's And Niece's every summer from Fresno And they just LOVE IT!!! They could just go there all summer and have the GREATEST summer.were looking for 2006 summer.
