Mountain High Resort, Wrightwood

Snowboarding and skiing at this place was an overall pleasant experience. I would recommend people to plan ahead and book rooms at one of the local ones like Mountain View Motel. The conditions when I went were great and its even better during the weekdays when everyone is away. The weekends are busy as usual but if thats the only way to come up here, come bright and early around 7am to find parking. The drive up here is very easy and not too hard to find. The tubing park at north resort is in its first year so call ahead to see if its open. The different terrain and ability to go from moderate to advance courses at this place is one of the things that keep me from coming back. Even for beginner's, this place is awesome to learn at since they have instructors who make the book on learning to ski/snowboard teaching. As for prices, weekends are at $58 or $55 with express pass but for even cheaper deals, you can visit your local ralph's and pick one up for $43 dollars. For even great deals, check out the motel called Mountain View with their room packages that start at $75 per person and that includes your own room. Mountain High's website has a wealth of information so plan ahead, find a place to sleep, and find a place to eat! I spent $200 for the room and tickets and $45 for the food for two people. It was a great time at Mt. High and I will return.
