Description

Ever feel like dropping it all and embracing the life of a nautical nomad? California Sailing Academy offers private, semi-private and group lessons, with experienced instructors that can make any landlubber seaworthy. In just a few classes students learn how to safely handle a sailboat with ease and expertise. The only requirement is the ability to swim, good health, sunscreen and non-drowsy Dramamine. Boats, ranging from 14 to 40 feet are also available for renting or charter, with or without crew.

Sail Ho to California Sailing Academy

Thank you CSA ! My outstanding Instructor and course material brought me into a new life at sea. Captain Miller taught us how to visualize and understand the rules of the road intuitively. I had purchased a book with 40,000 rules of the road and tried an E course on USCG LICENSEING WHICH LEFT ME MYSTIFIED. I took Mr. Millers course and found it not only interesting, it was fun. I now hold a USCG license for 100 Tons and am driving a commercial tour boat. Yahoo!

I thank them for sharing their passion for sailing I really enjoyed participating in the sailing program. The experience has left me with a new found confidence. The instructors including the director Paul were very generous with their knowledge and expertise, not to mention their patience. I sailed on Zeus on a Sunday, What a magnificent experience. I felt like I was in a movie , starring "me". I still can not wipe the smile off my face. Thanks again, Sharon & Bill

Beautiful school. terrific boats and the best instructors They also offer courses accredited by UCLA. EXCELLENT PEOPLE BOATS AND INSTRUCTION

WORLDS BEST SAILING SCHOOL

Teaches private and courses and for UCLA.ext. The director is a graduate of the U. S naval academy and former sailing coach there. The school has been in existance a long time. Great boats, school and location. It is the most famous school on the west coast. I discovered them through their website, and some friends. Our son then trained at their School's USCG approved officers school at the same location and is now driving beauitful vessels about the ocean. These people are the best.
