Coming from horseback riding in the Midwest, this ranch has it all for the horse lover, young and old, novice to expert. They do guided one or two hour rides during the day, but I went on their night/dinner ride to a Mexican restaurant called Viva Fresh. The horses are great, the views of the city are amazing from the trails, and the guides are wonderful storytellers. I would bring layers of clothes if you go in the winter because it can get a little chilly and try to get a group of 10 or more to go because it is less expensive on that wallet.

I actually never went on the ride. If you plan a private horseback ride and it rains they won't give you your $$$ back. I had friends surprising my girlfriend from out of town, the forecast was 90% chance of rain and T-Storms and 40mph winds. Imagine the experience my guests would face for a 3 hr ride and still they wouldn't refund my deposit. I went to the GM and she was not willing to compromise. The contract doesn't stipulate RAIN OR SHINE therefore they WILL hold your $400 deposit and force you to reschedule. Pass it on and beware of the contract.
