Country Trails & Riding School, Orange

My friends and I did the 1 hour trail ride for $40, it was a very slow pace, only walking, no trotting. by the time we had left the area right around the horse stables it was almost time to turn around.

I have been riding at Country Trails for over 11 years. I have taken numerous trail rides and have advanced from lessons to independent riding which allows me to ride almost any horse at the stables without an instructor. The staff is very knowledgeable and takes great care of the horses. I ride every Sunday and can't imagine a week without my visit to Country Trails.

My friend's horse was stolen, and this riding school had bought it ! Do they actually buy stolen horses? ...They have NO bedding for their horses to sleep on and when it rains, the horses stalls are really flooded with no relief.

I have just started riding here and it is amazing. From trail rides to lessons and camps it is clearly a very friendly enviorment for the horses and riders. Allowing riders to forfill beginning or intermediate English or Western abilities. My favorite horse that I choose for lessons and stuff would be Ice. A handsome flea-bitten gelding who clearly likes me and lots of people.

I took my first trail ride with CT back in 1999. I had just moved to Orange, and it was a dream since I was a child to learn to ride. After my first trail ride experiencing the peace and beauty this place has to offer, I was hooked. At 27 years old, I fulfilled my dream and signed up for riding lessons! I felt strange being an adult student, but quickly learned that there were many other ladies of all ages taking lessons as well. The staff is patient and kind, and make riding fun and safe. I took lessons for four years, and then moved out to Riverside County where I now own 3 horses. CT gave me a great foundation in riding, and many wonderful memories and friendships with my "horse soul mates"! They are simply the best!

Omg, I've been riding at Country Trails since I was 5, and not once was I displeased with the quality and performance of the staff and the horses. You also get the chance to bath, saddle and bridle your own horse. Its tons and TONS of pure clean FUN!!!!!!! This is a GREAT place to experience horses for the first time or the hundreth time. This excellent facilty gives riders a heads-up on confidence nad may even strike up a future career. WOO!!!!!! GO COUNTRY TRAILS!!!!!!!!

Country Trails was amazing! The horses are very well trained, as well as cared for. The staff are very tenative, making you feel right at home. After two trail rides I was hooked! Now I am officially a lesson student! I would deffinetly recommend this this wonderful place to others. Plus it's a great value!

Country Trails was totally fun. Fun was horseback riding in a scenic view and an escape to an adventurous trail. A wonderful view shows the Californian outdoors. The pleasant trail guide was very knowledgeable about the native vegetations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The horses were well trained. This city �tenderfoot� would like to go back again.

Ever since I was a young girl of 7 y/o, I've been riding with Country Trails. I'm now a grown 16 y/o young lady with the utmost respect for all the staff and riders. I, myself have even started working part-time over the summer. I believe all the hard work and commitment Robin and the other put into their job is incredible. Being around the stables is always fun, exciting, and a great way to learn and make memories. I would definitely advise people of all over to pay us a visit and experience the adventure and excitement CT has to offer. The horses are out of this world and so are the people. It's a great environment for young riders as well as adults. I've been there long enough, I should know. No matter how down you are, a horse can always boost your happiness. For me, and many others, horses are (wo)mans' best firneds!

Good horses, well fed and peaceful. Staff knows the horses, temperaments and makes the rider feel safe while teaching how to ride. Chris was a fun trail guide, quite knowledgeable about the horses, trails, vegetation and history of the area. It's a great way to spend time away from the rush of daily life in oc.
