Exposition Park Rose Garden

Description

At the north end of Exposition Park, which isn't really a park at all, sits this sunken garden. Exposition Park Rose Garden features more than 20,000 rose bushes, made up of more than 190 different varieties of roses. During blooming season from March to November, the smell here can be incredibly strong. This spot is popular for picnics and weddings, the latter of which is available by reservation. Admission is free.

Great walk to and from the game.

I love this place. We walk though here to go to the game. What a good smell of roses.

i was surprised to see only one post. this is a great place to take a new date have a packed lunch and check out one of the museums.

Oooh, look at that one!

I think the Exposition Park rose Garden is a fantastic place because it's so lovely. Yes, not all the roses are beautiful, but it's so nice to be able to just go and enjoy yourself. For example, eat your lunch under one of the gazebos or something. It's really pretty and I especially enjoyed trying to match the roses there with ones in my front yard! I recommend it if you ever have a spare day in Los Angeles.
