Watch out for Valet!
Had my car towed from here. I made an honest mistake and forgot to leave the key. When you have kids you can easily be distracted and forget especially if your car is keyless. But the Valet manager let my children and I walk away knowing that he did not have the key and didnt say a word. I only visited a restaurant that was a few feet from the valet, so no effort was made to locate me, as the spectrum states they do. There is no way he couldnt have seen me walk in there as the entrance is in direct view. Other valet services are nice and ask the driver for the key. They had a car just like mine parked in front when I returned, but towed mine. The manager was very rude as well about it, right in front of my kids. After speaking to people about this, I was told that this happens often there and cant help but to wonder if there is a monetary gain in it for them. I called the tow company and asked them what they charge to tow from that valet, they wouldn't tell me, but apparently have a contract with them. They charged me $60 to get my car back. When I contacted the spectrum about it, they stated that the tow co charges them $60. However, he didnt realize that I was rounded it off. The exact amount that I was charged was $50 for tow and $9.00 for valet. So it just seems like no one can state what the true charge really is. There are many other shopping centers nearby that I have never encounter a problem with and treat customers with more respect than this...and have better shopping. I would spend my money at south coast and fashion island instead.
