Oaks Mall (The)
This large mall has all the standard Southern California department stores and shops as well as some more upscale merchants. Mall standards including The Limited, The Gap and Wet Seal are joined by a number of jewelers and other specialty stores. The mall is located just off the 101 Freeway about 30 minutes north of Los Angeles, making it a convenient stop on the way to and from Santa Barbara.
The oaks mall is not the worst mall i have ever been to,but, then again its not the best. The photo place for friends is great! But it could really use a Hollister! But i would have to say i can almost always find just what i need there!
The Oaks Mall is designed for upper middle class and lower upper class shoppers.
They want customers who will visit infrequently and drop lots of money.
Its not for the usual mall shopper.
No toy store? Or course who wants children in their mall. They want teens with too much money.
Restaurants? Im surprised they have a McDonalds it way too low brow. They want overpriced food with a good atmosphere.
Nobody goes here, you can find these stores anywhere else. They've remodeled it but you don't go to a mall to look at the architecture. However, they are putting in a movie theater so maybe that will help it along.
