With over 175 stores and a large selection of restaurants, this sophisticated indoor mall is a must-see for shopping fanatics. Spanning 76 acres (30.75 hectares) and decorated with fountains and tall palm trees, this is Orange County's second largest shopping center. Department stores anchoring the mall run the gamut from J.C. Penney and Sears, to Macy's and Nordstrom at the more upscale end of the spectrum. Visit this shopping center and find everything you could want or need!
Excellent Mall -- and home to North OC's only real restauarant

The Brea Mall is one the best mall's in Orange County and allows people stuck in North Orange County to have a great place to shop without having to go down to South Coast Plaza. (As you know it is a pain from North Orange County to get down to South Coast Plaza due to where the 57 freeway ends).
The mall features the best selection of department stores of any mall. From lower-end stores like Sears and JcPenney, to mid-range stores like Robinson's-May, to your high end stores like Macy's and Nordstorm's. They even have the Glenn Ivy Day Spa to relax. This is similar to the Glenn Ivy Hot Spring's Spa outside of Corona, CA.
Also, recently the mall addressed the biggest problem with Brea and most of North Orange County and that is the lack of a real restaurant. Kudos to mall management in finally getting Brea's FIRST real restaurant in the Cheescake Factory, which opened up recently. Be warned however, being the only real restaurant in North OC the lines will be up to 3 hours long. Even a sad restaurant like Olive Garden here in Brea has over an hour wait at 4 PM on Saturday's (again due to the lack of real restaurants in North OC). It is one of the few areas where you are waiting over an hour at 4 PM on a Saturday. Notice that in areas where Olive Garden has lots of real restaurants around the area, the place will be empty at the same time.
So this mall is highly recommended, from department stores that appeal to everyone, to the only real restaurant in North Orange County, to mall management that cares (unlike the management of MainPlace in Santa Ana). It is no suprise that people in Orange County rated this mall ahead of every other mall except South Coast Plaza.
This is the best mall in California! It has a beautiful waterfountain in the center of the mall and a cute play place for the kids! it has "all the best stores" as i said for the title. Some of these stores include PacSun, abercrombie, American Eagle Outfitters, Coach, and Guess! These are stores that are pretty hard to find...
This is an excellent mall with stores ranging from Sears and Jcpenney to Macy's and Nordstorm. Also, most of the best national mall chains are located here (i.e. Victoria's Secret, American Eagle Outfitters, Gap, etc.)
They have the Glen Ivy Day Spa where you can relax for a couple of hours from your shopping, now how many malls can you say have Day Spas?
This mall is the reason why the Imperial Hwy. exit is always jammed on weekends.
The only problem is the parking situation which was made a lot worse when the Cheescake Factory opened up. Now the only place where parking was easy to come by is gone and it can be quite an adventure to find parking (even harder than South Coast Plaza). Mall management should of built another parking garage or thought about the parking before building the Cheesecake Factory (which is a great restaurant BTW, but they should of made it 2 stories, it is one of the smallest Cheescake Factory around).
Don't forget about Lucille's BBQ which is just off the Imperial Hwy. exit off of north 57 if you want the #1 BBQ place in Orange County.
But it is worth the parking hassles to go to one of the best malls in Orange County that offers something for everyone (a good mix of all types of stores, not just upscale ones, or discount ones).
It is also why a lot of people come from the Pomona/Diamond Bar area to shop here.
