Human skulls, fetal animals preserved in formaldehyde, freeze-dried rats and desiccated bat wings are only some of the goodies available to the public. If your tastes are more mainstream, you can also browse the antique Victorian jewelry, books (new and used), lamps and postcards. Not for the faint of heart, this shop also offers online ordering for those who prefer to purchase their tarantula specimens and Gothic candelabras from the privacy of their own home.
Terrible customer service, the worst I've ever experienced. They have a decent selection and I would have bought something but I was so turned off by the attitude that I left. Save your dollars for the much friendlier vendors at the flea markets.
this one a kind store is the ONE place I cannot leave LA without visiting and purchasing SOMETHING from it. Most items are pretty cheap but some really pricey items are still one of those things worth buying or at least, dreaming of saving up the money to buy it.
