Brighton Coffee Shop & Cafe
Open since 1934, this place claims to be the oldest coffee shop in Beverly Hills. It still serves meals to such big-name stars as Sharon Stone and Drew Barrymore - when they're in town. You can sit at the comfortable little cafe tables or the counter. The coffee is excellent. For lunch or an early dinner on most days, you might want to order the Chicken Teriyaki or Meatloaf. If you're just stopping in for a treat or don't want to order a full meal, try one of the fountain specialties. Cash only.
THESE PEOPLE ARE SLOW IT TOOK 15 MINUTES FOR ORANGE JUICE AND A BAGEL. THERE WAS NOT ALOT OF PEOPLE THERE SO WHY THE WAIT DON'T KNOW.(MAYBE BECAUSE IM BLACK) BUT GOODNESS THAT STILL DOESN'T EXPLAIN WHY MY ORANGE JUICE TASTE LIKE METAL. WELL MAYBE IT DOES.
cozy and very charmming place to go. we had meatloaf and tuna sandwches, and it was delicious and reasonable price. servers were friendly and got to see paris hilton there.
it was fun and pleasant experience.
The glass entrance door was covered with fingerprints and after being served I noticed a "B" rating in the front window. The waitress was not friendly and one has to ask for a key to use a restroom outside and separate from the restaurant. I ordered pancakes, coffee and orange juice. The food was fine except the maple syrup had absolutely no flavor at all.
Sandwiches, fries, fruit, coffee, juices - foods that need no special preparation are great. However cooked foods are especially bland and tasteless. They look delightful, but taste disgusting if you are one who prefers flavorfully seasoned meals.
