The Arkansas Repertory Theatre brings a touch of Broadway to Little Rock. The Rep's cozy-sized auditorium attracts everyone from theatre buffs in fur coats, to curious patrons in jeans. Eleven shows are performed each season, which runs from September to June. The competent cast wins fans every time with plays such as "The Wizard of Oz" and "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat." The lobby doubles as a gallery selling colorful artwork by local artists, too. Ticket prices are modest, with most shows starting at USD20.

Small but Professional

The Rep has become famous in Little Rock for its unique, theatrical productions of both classic musicals and plays and original works. From Annie to Ain't Misbehavin', the Rep has something for all ages to enjoy. I have been to productions such as The Sound of Music, which was surprisingly flawless. If you visit Little Rock, check to see what The Rep is showing!
