Butcher Shop Steakhouse, Little Rock

Best steakHouse in Little Rock. You definitely get what you pay for. Great service everytime and we have never had a bad steak. Wine prices are excellent--other restaurants need to take a lesson on their wine prices!

Thought the atmosphere was great. The food was awesome and the service was unbeatable. The prices where high, but not too high. Around $25 each. The steaks were cooked just right, and the Spinach and Artichoke dip was to die for... also recommend the twice baked potato. Desserts all looked amazing, but didn't have any room left. All in all the whole experience gets an A+. We have found a new favorite Steakhouse in Little Rock!!

I'd heard lots of good things about this steakhouse so I decided to give it a shot. There's ample parking and the building looks very nice inside and out. Their wine list is a bit limited but satisfactory. I decided to take their ribeye cut with their blackened spices. Unfortunately, I found myself not quite enjoying the steak. Sure it was cooked medium to my liking, but it just lacked the flavor I was expecting. For $28, it was a bit too expensive for what I got. I've had good steaks at Roadhouse and Lonestar for less (with worse service though). Still, the atmosphere was nice and maybe I went on an off day. YMMV

The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is suberb (although I did not enjoy the grilled chicken - but who goes to a steakhouse for chicken, anyway?). It is a great time, every time, whether with a group of friends or just the family.

This place was great, I loved the atmosphere as it was nice but not to the point where you were uncomfortable. While the steaks were not the cheapest I have ever had they were by FAR the absolute best I have tasted in my life. I go back to The Butcher Shop every chance I get. This is a place you must try at least once.

Maybe it's because it seems as though just about every restaurant has steaks on the menu these days, but it's not always easy to find really good steaks. Well look no further. The cuts of meat at this restaurant were excellent. The kitchen is visible from the fire pit (very few diners actually cook their own steak though) so we asked to tour the kitchen and management gladly accommodated us. While the steaks were excellent, the grilled tuna on this night was Ok but not the same quality as the steaks. We loved the saut�ed mushrooms and the fresh baked bread was very tasty as well. The wait staff was attentive but not bothersome like at some restaurants. What also impressed me was their knowledge of the menu. All questions were answered quickly and confidently. Waiting on a large party is never easy, but they handled it well. Having been "in the business", it was easy to see that management has trained it's staff well. The decor is cozy and intimate yet suitable for both casual and more formal dining. Although the wine list was somewhat limited, all in all, we had a very enjoyable evening. While has been over a year since we dined there, I would definitely dine at The Butcher Shop again when next in Little Ro

My experience was exceptional. The group i was with decided to cook our own steaks (hightly recommended...if your competent) The grill was a bit cooler than i prefere but did the job well allowing us time to talk and enjoy the meal, not just rush into things. The wait staff was friendly and performed perfectly, never were we without anything. I highly recommend the Butcher Shop, it is a bit pricey, but for a good steak it is well worth it.
