This establishment is definitely the most popular place to buy, sell and trade used books in Tucson. Its huge selection is well organized and categorized, with signs and pointers guiding the customer to the exact section they are searching out. Comfortable armchairs invite readers to try before they buy. Other than books new and old, the store offers a wide range of magazines and used CDs, cassettes and computer games at bargain prices. Books and audio materials may be used as a trade-in for either cash or credit at the discretion of the store clerks.

Unbelievably Organized Store!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/06/09
I also came upon Bookman's by accident. Thought I would step in for a few minutes and spent over two hours! Prchased several back issues of my favorite magazines, two books, a purse and some retro jewelry. Plan to visit Bookmans whenever I'm in Tucson.

Bookman's addict
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/10/07
Whenever I'm in Arizona I try to hit as many Bookman's as possible. I'm from Grants, NM and it's a long ways to Flagstaff, Mesa, Phoenix and Tucson. During one particular trip I outdid myself and went to all five Bookman's, one in Flagstaff, two in Mesa and Phoenix and three in Tucson! I used about $300 worth of trade credit to buy mostly DVDs! I wish they had a Bookman's in New Mexico - especially in Albuquerque. I can't wait for my next trip to Bookman's.

I found Bookman's by accident. They also have on Wednesday 10% off all books for seniors. My husband and I happen to find all back issues on our favorite authors..wish I didn't have leave come back home. While I was there visiting I read 26 books..Couldn't wait to tell everyone back home on what a great place. My experience was great very helpful employee's..everything you want is in this book store.

If they've got it
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/04/06
If they have what you've been looking for (ideally fiction novels, or old magazines) this is THE place to buy it! The prices are good, the layout is alright, and the used CD section is fantastic.

Tucson must-see bookstore
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/28/05
The Bookman's stores (there were three. at last count)are a not-to-be-missed Tucson phenomenon; my favorite is the big store on Grant at Campbell. Vast, well organized selection of paper and hardcover books, and lots of books on tape, too. No matter what you came in to find, you'll always find something to read in this store, and the prices are extremely fair. I live in San Diego area but always stop at the store when I come to visit my sister and the family, If you're a voracious reader. do yourself a favor and visit Bookman's.

Bookman
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/04
I happened upon this bookstore on a recent business trip. A lack of access to the WB and my corresponding inability to watch Gilmore Girls forced me to seek out other diversions. This is, by far, one of the best bookstores I have ever seen. They have an incredible selection of books, CDs, dvds and you name it. The staff was helpful, the atmosphere was fun but low key. My only regrets were running out of time to browse and space in my luggage to fit all of my treasures.
