Bell Rock

Description

This rock is easily recognized by its stately shape and unusual red color. The object of many visitors' pointed cameras, this rock becomes more than it appears at first glance. Possessing one of four Energy Vortexes in the area, this is a highly popular attraction. Located near the Bell Rock Inn whose rooms offer incredible views, this rock possesses energy of the "active" type, which spirals up, encircling you. Experiment sensing this energy while on the rock by first briskly rubbing your hands together, then hold your palms first upward with arms outstretched, then downward, feeling the invisible forces at work either lifting or pushing down.

AMAZING Experience
By ,
I vacation to the Sedona area just a week ago. And I would have to say the area has such an amazing amount of positive energy that flows through it. I was going through a rough time in my life and when I hiked up Bell rock I found an area to sit and reflect on life. It made such a difference! It had such an impact on me, my life view is completely changed. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to feel peace, and close with nature. Just absolutely beautiful out there in Sedona! I must see that is for sure.

Breath Taking!!!
By ,
We stayed right down the road from Bell Rock and was able to see it everyday. It was beautiful. One day we road our bikes to it. The next day we hiked up half of it with our 4 year old and then the next day my 13 year and I hiked to the top of it. It was beautiful. We couldn't really find the trail on how to get to the top once we got to the not so flat spots be we were able to find a way. Once we were on the top it was breath taking. All ages can enjoy this even if you are not the type to hike just follow the trail on the North side of the Rock to the bottom of the rock and enjoy.

Rattlesnake
By ,
While hiking up Bell Rock we encountered a rattlesnake about two feet from the path. If it didn't rattle, we wouldn't have noticed it. Sedona is unlike any other place in the world. It's serene, breathtaking and spiritual.

Wonderful to see
By ,
Sedona is possibly the most beautiful area in the world and is certainly our favorite. As believers in Christ Jesus, we are saddened that it has become a center for the occult, with the supposed "vortexes," etc. Have visited Sedona many times, starting in the 1950s, and loved being there every time. Always watch movies which were filmed there and hate the fact that housing developments took over where the likes of John Wayne walked the streets of a Western town set...but that was inevitable. Bell Rock is a wonder to see from any direction and we have many pictures; especially love Baldwin Crossing and shots of the stream with those fabulous red rocks in the background. Like to remember it as it was back in the "old days."

you'll just HAVE to go back!
By ,
Bell Rock is the strongest vortex I've experienced in Sedona. I could even feel the energy blocks away at the gas station! I brought home small rocks for my family from Bell Rock, and they can feel the energy when they hold them in their hands.

Breathtaking
By ,
Bell Rock is a tough but manageable climb. The views from the top are breathtaking, as is Bell Rock itself. The winding path that takes you up is full of desert wonders. Loved it!

Dreamed of it years before I went, miss it when I'm not there....
By ,
Loved it all every time we went. Too bad it's gotten so popular, because only rich people can afford to live there. I love to visit, but it's too crowded. I will always go back, in spite of this inevitable fact.

Wow! What a fantastic view from up on this incredible rock formation. Powerful vortex, excellent meditation spot... My friend and I had a wonderful time in Sedona. Climbing the red rocks is a freeing feeling.
