We took a full day tour with Ted that wound up being the highlight of our trip. We always wanted to learn more about Native Americans, and Ted is a wealth of knowledge, being a Crow Indian himself. Visiting the Hopi Mesas, eating their food, and listening to the lectures from Ted, along with seeing special movies also included, clearly gave us an appreciation for the history of their culture, and a love for their people. I would recommend this tour to anyone even considering it. You won't be disappointed. Carmichael, California

Our trip to Hopi was an incredible journey. The new owners of this company have an incredible amount of knowledge, as they are Native Americans. They live the life, pass on the teachings and treat you to a wonderful experience! I would recommend this company to those who want a tour that will change their lives

We prepaid for a tour and when we got to Sedona could not get in touch with anyone at Way of the Ancients. We went by the address in the phone book and it was a real estate office and nobody was at the 465 Jordan Road address. I'm still trying to get my money back.

Owner Ted gave a beautiful Easter morning ceremony and explained all the different tours. We would recommend them all. Sedona is such an Amazing place, we keep coming back as much as possible. We Loved Sedona !

During the week we spent in Flagstaff, we took three tours with Way of the Ancients: the Grand Canyon, the Hopi Mesa and the Ancient Ruins. My husband was a little skeptical at first of booking three tours with an unknown company, but it wasn't long before they won him over, and we were both thrilled with each of our experiences with them. Even though they're based in Sedona, they picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in Flagstaff each day. The content of all the tours was well chosen and very satisfying, and each day was full of surprises and extras that we hadn't expected. The guides shared so much history and trivia about the places we visited and the area in general that the tours were always fascinating. The guides themselves were always courteous and the service couldn't have been better. Not only were the tours themselves wonderful and full of fascinating sights and information that no one should miss, but both my husband and I felt that our guides consistently went above and beyond. They made the most wonderful recommendations about other attractions and restaurants we should visit while we were in the area. They even provided detailed directions and even a map one time so that we wouldn't miss anything. Our experience with them was so positive that my only regret at the end of the week was that we had only taken three tours with them.

I have toured both Canyon de Chelly and the Hopi Mesas with Way of the Ancients. Both were very rich in historical and native perspectives during the long rides from Sedona. Stopping to pray and offer a tobacco blessing on the ground when we entered the reservation was a particularly moving experience. Aho.
