Red Rock Biplane Tours has been providing the exciting "barnstorming" experiences to passengers in the red rock region for about four years, and local airplane flights for more than 11 years. Take a spin in a new open cockpit Super Waco Bi-plane for breathtaking views and a glorious adrenalin rush. Pilots here exceed the commercial requirements for flying hours, having thousands under their belts, and are knowledgeable of the local terrain. Tours range from USD36-USD215 and are subject to change. Please call for reservations and further information.

For my daughter's 25 th. Birthday present !

I had not been back to visit Sedona since 1974 when I attended NAU. My daughter had never been out to AZ. So I booked the hour tour as her birthday present ! I fell in love with the canyons again !!!! My daughter thought the ride was fantasic ! The pilot spoke about the history of the canyons with zeal ! If one really wants to see the beauty of the canyons --- take the biplane tour !!! P.S. -- Thank you guys for a ultimate memory for both of us girls !!!!!

The Best

If you are looking to take your family on an airplane tour, this company is the one to use. We had the best time and have not stopped talking about our ride. Everyone associated with Red Rock were great. The trip met all of our expectations. Thanks again for the wonderful time.

Wonderful Experience!!

I loved every bit of this wonderful flight. "Lizard" was a true professional as he flew me through the valleys and canyons and over the rock formations. As a historian, I truly enjoyed his narration during the trip...and learned a great deal. I took the 30 minute tour and would certainly recommend it to anyone. Sedona has become one of my favorite places to visit and vacation...it truly soothes my soul! This biplane flight was one additional way to experience what Sedona is all about. I'd love to do it again!!!

We will be back

Lizard took my husband and grandaughter up for the 20 minute tour, and my grandaughter was totally thrilled! We did do some shopping there for the folks back home. Next time we are there, we will be back! Debbie Schrader

Worth It plus

Best view of the most area. Circle spires of red rock and see snow covered moutain tops with herds of elk. Video can always be better but it is a recorder of a fantastic flight. Remember to bring a coat.

Red Rock BiPlane tours

I knew from the first moment that I saw the sign "Red Rock BiPlane tours" that it'd be a "must do" adventure while on my week long vacation in Sedona, AZ during mid-May '04.
The tour was fabulous! It's possible for two people (and the pilot) to go up at the same time but my wife isn't as adventurous as I am so I went up myself for the 30 minute tour. We flew through the nearby Oak Creek Canyon and over various rock formations, mountains and vortexes. The trip definately got my adrenaline flowing. They even take a VHS video filming your flight and the pilot narates what you're seeing during the flight via headset with a vintage barnstormers cap too I might add. I'd highly recommend the tours to anyone who enjoys vintage airplanes and having fun.
I'll be back and do it again next time I'm visiting Sedona, hopefully soon.
