As its name implies, this restaurant concentrates on well-prepared beef and billiards. The dining room has a "clubby" atmosphere and the billiards room features tournament-sized tables. There is a library lounge where you can sit by the fireplace and enjoy a fine cigar. Custom-aged steaks (USD18-24) are served with soup or salad and a one-pound baked potato. Other entree selections included sauteed calamari steak, pork porterhouse and stir-fried prawns and scallops. The wine list includes choices in the USD25-30 range including Los Abrigados Resort & Spa's private label.
We contemplated this place for a nice steak and upon arrival realized we should save our money.
With only 3 tables remaining at 8:45pm on a Tuesday night, our food took over an hour to arrive. Our server failed to bring water to the table for the first 35 minutes. The nachos made me run for the bathroom, which was supposed to only be a half order, but we got charged for a full.
Cafeteria grade food - if there was a Luby's in town I would have certainly picked a Luan Platter over this meal.
This was an excellent experiance for me and my 4 kids, they all had a great time and the food was amazing. The price was reasonable and the servers were really good. The food came quickley which was a huge plus since all the kids were going wild they were so excited. I would definitly reccomend it to anyone.
