Crackerjax Family Fun and Sports Park, Scottsdale

College kids with parents, enjoyed the putting challenges, golf driving. I've been to several across the country and this was great for the $. We rated it a 8/10 on our family trip for evening outside fun. we will come again on our next trip out. -The Illinois Family on vacation.

The reviewer that said this place is starting to show its age is absolutely right! After visiting this place, we will not return. First let me say, that this place looks like a lot of fun driving by. They have the bumper boats, the go-carts, mini golf and a driving range as well as many other attractions. It has the makings to be a great place, but let me say that it is not well-maintained at all, unfortunately. We visited on a Sunday evening to play a round of mini golf. The first thing that we noticed was that the mini golf course was poorly lite. Now, if an establishment has the attraction open in the evening, one would assume that there would be adequate lighting. Besides basically playing mini golf in the dark, we encountered several other "obstacles." Next, we noticed that the greens were quite torn up. One hole in particular on the Optical Delusion course, had the carpeting almost completely torn off. This is one of those things that I think is unacceptable. This is supposed to be a family place where you can go to have good fun times, but instead, it seemed as if it was in disrepair. My biggest complaint about Crackerjax, however, was that when I go to play mini golf, I don't want to have cockroaches as my teammates. I don't know what the problem was here, but I've been to other mini golf places in Arizona and never once saw a cockroach. I didn't just see one here, I saw many. Too many to count in fact. The whole scenerio just grossed us out and it was the fastest mini golf I've ever played. I would hope that they clean their act up a little bit, and then maybe it would be worth giving it a second chance.
