Horrible Experience
Monty himself sold my guitar student an acoustic with a twisted neck. I discovered the twisted neck and even went with my student to Monty's to return the guitar and pick out a new one. Monty would NOT RETURN the guitar and even tried to say the guitar could be fixed if we paid for a Set-Up. My student had purchased the guitar only 3 days prior! My student said he would even purchase a more expensive model if he took this one back. Monty said NO. My Student had to ship the guitar to Seagull, through Monty's store, and it took 3 months to get a new one back. Seagull deemed the guitar UN-REPAIRABLE and replaced it with a new one. If Monty would have just taken the guitar back, sold us a new one, he would have made more money, we would have been happy, and I would not have written this review and told everyone I know NOT TO SHOP THERE. Monty displayed horrible customer service and sold a "broken" product. This was my first and last impression of Monty's Music in Scottsdale, AZ
