Neckties are a real "no-no" at this western-themed restaurant. Consider this fair warning, if you defy the dress code and actually show up wearing a tie it will be snipped off by your server and added to the collection of many thousands of others that adorn both the walls and the rafters here. Big, as in two pounds and better, steaks are mesquite-grilled and served up with beans. The menu is fairly limited, but the overall experience is certainly memorable.

Still as good as I remembered!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/23/06
Last time I visited Pinnacle Peak was a little over 10 years ago. I loved it then and it did not disappoint me this time either!! Great steak, friendly service. Fun place to go with kids or a large group. If you can, go in the summer months cause then you can opt to dine outdoors and that is a treat with the beautiful mountains and the outdoor stage and dance floor (Indoors has music too!!) and huge barbeque pits where they do up the steaks. Overall fun place to eat.

Fantastic View..Worth the Drive
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/02/05
It takes about an hour from downtown Phoenix, perhaps quicker if all the construction is finished. Absolutely worth the drive up the mountain, the view from the top is fantastic. Go at night to enjoy the lights. Down-home atmosphere, good food and good service. Great place to go to learn about the history and find out about the Hollywood Who's Who who have eaten here.
