This family-owned-and-operated restaurant has been a local favorite for decades. Serving three meals daily, the menu has more than 300 selections. It is often busy, so plan on at least a short wait before being seated. Hearty breakfasts (including pancakes made with orange juice) are followed by burgers, salads and sandwiches at lunch (try the Island Melt Sandwich) and seafood, steaks and pastas at dinner. Interesting desserts include the Hoosier Pie. Full bar service is available. Most dinner entrees are USD10-15.
I hardly know where to start when describing Pischke's. The breakfast is outstanding! They offer a large, creative selection of omelettes and breakfast foods. I recomend the Spicy chicken omelette or Eggs Benedict on a Boboli pizza crust (yum!) Definately a fun and inviting atmosphere for a mimosa and a smile after a long night shift. Lot's of regulars seen here, sitting at either the bar area which wraps around an awesome aquarium or at one of the many cozy booths in the periphery. You can't go wrong with this choice of resaurants.
I have been eating here since the day I moved to town. Not only do they have the best breakfast around but some other wonderful items on the menu.My favorite is the RockyPoint shrimp sandwich. Shrimp mixed with creamcheese topped with cheese.
I was a semi-regular for the 8 years I lived in the Phoenix area. I'm planning a return trip from my home in Las Vegas this weekend. I've been raving about Pischke's to anyone who would listen since I left Arizona at the end of 2000.
It's about time for a return visit!

From the minute you're greeted at the door by Chris or his brother, Matt, you feel at home. Great food, fun people, unbeatable atmosphere. If you haven't been to Pishke's you haven't been to Scottsdale.

WOW!!! Yesterday I had the best meal of my life. Nothing fancy or expensive, a jamacian omlette, with potatoes and a bagel. Waffle with bananas foster was suggested. I couldn't say no... After ordering I still needed to look over the rest of the menu (Wow! what a wide variety of dishes). I have been a server/ trainer for the past 16 years and still am(I won't name where I work because it doesn't compair). I absoutly love to eat out whenever and wherever possible. Just a young city girl from California, I am the type of person any waitress hates to see walk through those doors. I always find something to say when it comes to doing the job. Although I have to say this is my first time ever(and I mean ever)being so happy with my overall expierence. After eating I got in my car, drove 7 hours back to California, thought about breakfast the whole way home and could not wait until 5:30 a.m. to go to work, just to tell it all. You should have seen the look on my bosses and co-workers faces when I started bragging about this place in Scottdale, A.Z. I am pleased to say that I received the best service and food imaginable. Ten stars to Pischkes. I have a dream of one day, owning and opperating my own resturaunt. When I do, it will have the same atmosphere. I was so impressed that I even bought a tee shirt to show off when I got home. I can relate to the term NO SNIVELING. I would love to have a boss with the same out look on the public. That tells me that you stand behind your employees because you are confident in all that they do, as it should be. I agree if you have a complaint you are in the wrong place. Who could possibly camplain here? The greeter(I am guessing the owner) never needed to take one name down. With a 30 minuit wait one would think with out a paper and pen oh-no, he is never going to keep it straight. Not in this case cookies to you sir... Job well done. As well as with the server, I never seen a pen. This young lady looked as though she had no worries in the world. Every thing was going her way today. I will return in the future. Until then I will tell every one I know about you... Great food... Great service... Great ideas...Thanks a billion.
