Description

The Grand Canyon draws more than 10 million visitors a year. As one of the seven natural wonders of the world, this amazing landscape awes and inspires. A mile in depth and more than 250 miles long, the Colorado River winds through its vast corridors. Drive or ride the Grand Canyon Railway as an alternative to getting there. Park amenities include both rustic and upscale lodging. Fine dining is available at the four-star dining room of the El Tovar. Admission is around USD20 per car.

Great Vacation Spot

We visited Grand Canyon South and West rim during the month of november. We throughly enjoyed the trip. Most beautiful place in the world. I have written about my experience in my blog My Scrawls about our Grand Canyon trip.

Nothing to dislike. Really awesome.It was really hot but worth it.This and Niagra Falls are two favorite places.I've heard it called a big hole in the ground.But it is a spectacular hole in the ground.

Simply beautiful....

The Grand Canyon is amazing, a miracle formed by nature. It is breathtaking when you see it for the first time. Or for any time for that matter. My fondest memories are of visiting the Canyon as a child, and I've made many more memories since with visits with my partner. It's colors and patterns and mountains are unreal. It is truly a "must see before you die" place :)

One word: WOW!!

This is absolutely a must see no matter how old you are. It is magical, mysterious, and simply beautiful. Our family plan to visit again and again until we see all there is to see. That should keep us busy for the next 100 years!!! Put it on your list of things to do before you die. You will never forget it.

Awesome place

Plain and simple the Grand Canyon is simply the most beautiful place in the world that I have been. I used to live in Arizona and was there seven times when I lived there. I have been to the bottom twice, on foot. When I was in Arizona last month(April 2008) on a vacation I decided to visit again. It was just as beautiful as I remember it being and I hadn't been there in more than twenty years.

My Favorite Place on Earth

I have been to the Grand Canyon three times. I have been to the South Rim two times and the North Rim one time. It remains my favorite place on earth. I would recommend staying there at one of the lodges, but even if you just stop in for a peek it is worth it.

I can't wait to go back!

The Grand Canyon is beautiful & gigantic. It looks so different every time you see it. The veiw is magnificant! The employees in the gift shop are friendly & the items are well priced. Just watch out for the squirels, they might attack you when you're eating.
