Arizona Science Center
The Arizona Science Center museum features futuristic architecture by Antoine Predock and attempts to turn learning into fun. Interactive exhibits including All About Me and Fab Lab are cleverly designed to educate and entertain. Experience the night sky or a laser light show under the dome of the Dorrance Planetarium. Attend a film, if you prefer, in the Irene P. Flinn Theater with its five-story-high screen.
You will want to return almost as soon as you leave!

We have been about 5 times in the past 10 years...(Once on a school field trip...that was an adventure!) ... My son loves this place ... there are always new things that interest him and his favorites each time we visit. When he was 4 he loved the digging in the dirt exhibit ... now he is more interested in flying the helicopter. We've loved the special exhibits that we were fortunate to visit...one of our favorites was the Dinosaurs! We also spend quite a bit of our day on the floor that has the human body functions exhibits...go figure ... I have a boy! LOL!... Sometimes it does get crowded - especially on days where there are several school tours...but then you just have to be a little patient. We also love the theater experience and really love the planetarium... it is a full day's worth of fun...plan on spending hours!
There is enough to do to keep the family entertained for a whole afternoon. Some of the highlights are: fly your own paper plane; laser & lights; live experiments and interactive exhibits. Parents - you will have fun too!
