Pleasant harbor marina is without a doubt the worst marina in the state of Arizona. They dont answer phones, ignore emails and they even damaged our boat then when confronted about it denied it all yet we have before and after photos.
They pulled our boat all the way out of the water and up the long steep drive then down to the mechanics yard with our outdrive down and the prop dragging the ground, what morons!
They also damaged our boat anchor/windlass and teak wood when they rammed the front of our boat into something hard and dented the steel anchor. We inspected the boat just the week before and there was no damage to any part of the boat yet Chad Case of PHM is accusing us of doing the damage. How did we do it when they pulled the boat out and trailer it then pulled it out of the water and up the hill?
Dont waste your money here go to Scorpion Bay on the other side of the lake.
The people at the front office couldn't be any less interested in selling themselves. They were extremely rude. We went across the lake to Scorpion Bay and met with their people and were treated like paying customers. I would never dock my boat there.
This company is a joke.... their rentals are worn down boats, the seats are duct taped together, the engine and throttle are shot....our boat broke down for an hour on the lake while waiting to be towed into the marina... after towing us in they held my $800 deposit and tried charging me for the boat damages... they are a shady business, lack professionalism, and are nickel and diming every part.... would not recommend this company to anyone I know, I'd rent elsewhere or check out one of the other marinas..... they also are overly priced and lack any customer service ethics that come with it.... definitely research other options before renting from this company.....
I purchased a boat for 75K and drove it from the showroom to Unpleasant, I mean Pleasant Harbor Marina for storage in indoor dry stack. After a short ride in the boat we turned the boat over to the staff to put away. I had a back problem and didn't return to the marina for a while. Upon return to take the boat out the staff could not find it. They finally located it parked uncovered in an outdoor parking lot. The sun and rain did significant damage to my boat. The whole interior needed replacing. The steering wheel and windshield were warped, etc., etc. I spent $15,000.00 to have my boat fixed. PH refused to take any responsibility. We filed a lawsuit and depositions start next week. The main morons that we dealt with at this marina no longer work there. As soon as this case goes to trial I will be writing a website to detail the events. You won't want to miss this. In the meantime DON'T do business with these people, I believe if anything goes wrong you will regret the day that you set foot on their premises.
With regard to moorage, I'd give them a fair rating. They damaged my boat propeller during launch / retrieval beyond repair and showed no interest sorting the issue out. I had to eat it.
Not too impressed with the concierge service for repair. After repair, they returned my boat with the same problem that wasn't difficult to detect. Ouch. Burned.
Had a awesome time at the Aquapalooza this past weekend held at the marina. The DJ was great, the food and service was excellent. 400+ people at the bar. Couldn't have asked for a better time at the marina!
We have stayed away from the Marina due to the service and the food coming out cold after waiting forever, but we had friends in town and ventured to the Marina for lunch on Sunday and I will say it was the best in a long time. The food was served within 20 minutes, served hot and tasted wonderful. So then we ordered Pizza's for dinner Sunday night and again, they were done quickly, served hot (we took them to go and they were still hot when we got where we were going) and they tasted wonderful. Our friends said it was the best they have had. Pleasant Harbor Marina has had their problems and they are trying to overcome them and move forward. we found out they have a new cook and if they keep it up, he is going to turn this place around. March 2011
Spent the day here with our 4 kids yesterday and had a great time. People were so friendly, everyone says Hi! We ate at the Marina, food took awhile but was well worth the wait! Every employee we encountered was very helpful. Can't wait to come back
This place is really making changes! The new bar manager is doing a great job of improving the service. And she's hott! You can see her staying on top of all the servers so they don't leave there tables waiting. And the food is so much better now! They stopped doing that hoity-toity stuff and now it's all-american food perfect for the lake. Keep doing what your doing we are excited to come back!"
