Superstition Springs Center Mall
This mall in Mesa houses more than 150 shopping and dining establishments. One favorite feature is the nostalgic carousel, which is set in an enormous glass rotunda for the young and the young at heart. Enjoy the only desert botanical garden in a shopping center. More than 100 plants native to the Mojave, Soran and Chihuahuan deserts are featured. This is an example of xeriscaping, a means of preserving water in the desert using appropriate vegetation. Sporting an amphitheater in the plaza, free concerts run every Saturday evening from March through October.
We are old and have breathing problems and can't get into the store. You need a golf cart to take us to the building and an electric wheel chair to get around.
We were down there today and had to leave. I think we will find a mall that is compatible for older folks.
Superstition Springs is not anything close to super, with my experiences there, I do not recomend this mall for anyone! With hardly any stores and blinding windows filled with sunlight this mall is not recommended for the average shopper.Plus it is the so small it only takes about 2 minutes to walk clear to the other side! Boo Hoo for entertainment!!
I am old, and I dropped my dentures on the floor of the food court. They were much too dirty to put directly back into my mouth. I do not recommend this mall because the floors are dirty. Please let me know if you find my dentures.
This place is lacking hip stores. There is no abercromerbie, no forever twenty one.... this mall has definantly aged itself and it seems to target junior highers with nothing to do and the older crown. If you are looking for a better mall try Chandler, trust me its worth the drive
I love this mall it is never overcrowded and it is not full of super expensive stores. It is a perfect mall to go if you have kids and want a relaxing shopping trip. And I have lived in Arizona my entire life been to all the malls and still this is one of my favorite.
This mall is basically a place to go shopping when you need something to wear. Not much of a variety of other shops. No upscale boutiques or gift shops. The decor was so much nicer when it was painted in bright colors, had the bamboo by the elevators and had modern art and plants all around...now it just looks like any other mall...other than the carousel, nothing else sets it apart. I usually just drive past it and go to Chandler Fashion Mall, the Biltmore Fashion Park or Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall.
I've had a lot of funn times at this mall! :) I would recommend this mall if you've never been here, or dont go often. I always walk out with at least a few bags so its definately worth the time, and I am usually able to get decent deals for myself so its worth the money.
