Description

Since 1905, the Babbitt Brothers Trading Company has been serving visitors to the Grand Canyon. It began in a tent and evolved into a series of general stores. Across from the IMAX Theater you'll find one such Babbitt enterprise in the guise of the Tusayan General Store. Included in the services provided at this location is photo processing, RV supplies, camping and backpacking equipment, and a Post Office.

Good mini mart before Grand Canyon

Good stop after the long drive North from Scottsdale and Flagstaff. At this store, was able to stretch my legs and look at large selection of Grand Canyon souvenirs/post cards before entering Grand Canyon park just north. Also bought OJ & snacks to put in hotel mini refrig since I'd be staying overnight in a rim cabin. Restaurants were available near the lodges on the rim but not a mini mart place like this that I saw. Store also sold umbrellas and practical items you might need - sweatshirts, jackets.
