Flagstaff's sunshine climate inspires a day at the park. Whether you want to plan a picnic, watch a rousing rugby match, cheer for the boys of summer or take your dog for a scenic run, this park is the perfect setting. Four baseball fields and a concession stand cater to baseball and softball fans in season. A grassy multi-functional field begs the feet of soccer and disc golf players. Picnic tables and benches offer rest and shade. Laughter from the playground permeates the ponderosa pines. Call the administration for a schedule of sporting events and activities for all ages.
I took the family disc golfing here - it was wonderful. The park is beautiful and the course was well marked and fun. Public restrooms at the adjacent senior center. The place is easy to find and well worth the visit. I would love to have a course this scenic and fun in California. Playing amongst the pines was so scenic and challenging. I'll play here again the next time I am in the Flagstaff area for sure. I went on a weekday and there were very few people playing the course or using the park at all.
awsome frisbi golf! i can go with my kids and stay for hours on end! oh, and there is no cost(someone said in another review that you should buy a pass)whatsoever to use the park.... the only thing that costs anything is if you want to rent out a ramada for the day for a party or whatnot! oh, i mean its horrible!!! dont go! haha... i just dont want the frisbi golf course to crowded!!! :)
Has it all, Biking, large playground for kids, Disc Golf course, hiking trails, tennis courts. A very nice place to visit. We played the disc golf course and it was one of the best I have played in the country. The tennis courts are lit at night too.
