Crazy Bill's Saloon & Steakhouse
This self-titled "casual eating and drinking establishment" is a favorite local place to head for a beer and big steak. Expect casual, Western decor and friendly, although sometimes sassy, service. Both the bar and the dining room are often jammed with regulars, especially on weekends. The proprietor's raunchy slogan "Ya jest can't beat our meat," says it all. Steaks are the specialty here. You can also get ribs and chicken. Entrees come with a salad, choice of potato and Texas toast. At lunch, burgers and sandwiches are the most popular choices. The menu also offers standard American breakfast fare on Saturdays and Sundays. Dinner prices range from about $12-22.
If over-paying for re-heated (microwaved) entrees combined with non-existant service (25 min. for ice-tea refill) then Bill's is the place for you -otherwise-do what the locals do ... avoid it like the plague.
The bartender (Nancy) and the local patrons (John Beyer and Theresa made me feel very at home). Nancy Broyles was my bartender, and she is the best! My meal was excellent as were the drinks. I will stop by next time I'm in Flagstaff and hope I get to see these fantastic people again!
Thanks from Jodi :-)
