Only if you've been there

When I lived in Anchorage my parents thought that I would be too young to remember too much about living there. One of the most awesome things we experienced as a family was "Earthquake Park." This is where my family learned about earthquakes and how an earthquake effects not only the planet, but the lives of everyone in the area, and the wildlife. There is so much to see in Alaska. Between Anchorage and Fairbanks the attractions are limitless......please if you visit Alaska don't forget the cemetaries. Heritage/tradition/adventure is what Alaska is all about and if you don't learn about it and experience it - - you've truly missed a meaningful life experience. BTW: I wasn't living in Anchorage, Alaska in 2004---------it was actually 1969-1971 before the Alaskan Highway was paved and we drove from San Antiono, TX.
