Massive bottles of Veuve Clicquot (gold label) grace the long wooden tables placed as dividers within this large, one-room dining room. Hand-cut steaks and an extensive wine list draw a crowd every night. Appetizers of Baked Clams Casino, oysters on the half shell, and Sullivan's crab cakes are excellent starts to a terrific meal. Nine optional side dishes complement the entrees, which include salmon steaks and grilled tuna, lamb rib chops and filet mignon. Live bands play in the bar on weekends.

My husband and I were humiliated and insulted by the manager there. Our two year old daughter was with us and she was laughing. The manager came up to us and told us either shut the kid up or get out. I have never been so disrespected at a restaurant before. Before we entered we asked if children are allowed. The waitress even complimented us on how well behaved our child was. The manager has no people skills and was very rude. It was a very embarrassing experience, while the manager was insulting us.

Anchorage, AK - I was there New Year's Eve - it was decorated festive but elegant. The food was served exactly as ordered and the bleu cheese dressing is fabulous! Do you bottle that dressing for retail sales?

What an Experience

This place is expensive but it's great! I think that it's worth paying a little extra for the great atmosphere and wonderful food. It's a very nice establishment and they serve fantastic food, so I would highly recommend it.
