McWane Science Center, Birmingham

I LOVED IT SOO MUCH!! i went last year with my class! iv never done anything like it! and i REALLY learned ALOT! PLZ visit this fun and fantastic place! its GREAT!!!!!!!!!

We spent all day from 10am to 4:30 at the center and we never ran out of things to do. The kids loved the Imax and the exhibits are astounding. You can litterally have your hands on everything and kids love it. My 3 & 4 yr olds missed a nap and had a light lunch at the cafe' and never once had a melt down....miracle. We loved it so much we bought a membership.

I think the Mcwane Center is a great place for the kid to go,and the parent. The Mcwane center is not expensive,if you go a lot I recommend the membership.

I went last year and we stayed all day we were not board one bite they have things for all ages you should go on a rainy day were you do not have any thing else to do so

Our family went this past weekend and had a blast!!!!!! Can't wait to go back! We spent 5 hours doing all the stuff! (some we did more than once). The 1st and 2nd floors were the best and if you have time go to some of the shows they only last about 5 mins. and they are really cool!!

Entertains a variety of age groups. Wonderful adventure! My girls love it and they are girly girls! Birmingham should be so proud! Love it!

It's expensive but a great place for very young children to be taken on school outings. There are other attractions in the area that can add to the outing. Parking can be a bit difficult.

my daughters and i have visited your facility many times in the last five or six years. they couldn't wait to get there today, (august 19, 2006). they, more than me were very disappointed. they understood that the displays must change from time to time, but the ones there today were, in their words . . . lame, lame, lame. for us to drive as far as we did, pay what we did and have to deal with the most apathetic employees ever at the center, it's gonna be a long time before we undertake this experience again. thank you for your time.

me and my kids went to the mcwane center and my kids loved it so it was worth going but in my opinion not a good place for just the adults to go the imax is awsome on a plus side
