This weekend holiday tradition allows you to marvel at more than 500,000 shining lights on display at the Birmingham Zoo. Walk through the zoo grounds or ride the Zoolight Express Train. Nightly musical entertainment is also a draw. Call for a schedule of crafts, animal demonstrations, musical groups and games. Dinner and snacks are also available. Safari closed December 15, 16 and Wednesday-Thursday. Admission: USD7.

Fee to ride train, ride carousel, and go in petting zoo. None of the ice cream huts were open. Not worth the time or money.

abandoned. But closer inspection reveals that the handbills are upcoming gigs scheduled at this 21+ rock nightclub. No food ...
This laid back coffeehouse is a favorite with University of Alabama at Birmingham employees and students. There is nothing particularly
remarkable about the coffee, tea, bagels and baked goods sold here, but owner Lucy and her friendly staff inspire ...
