Description:

A hands-on science museum, McWane Center allows visitors to test physics principles, explore aquatic habitats, simulate space exploration and more. Interactive exhibits allow you to make your own animated movie, build a roller coaster or ride a bicycle along a wire 30 feet above the ground! There is also a giant dome-screened IMAX theater, a gift shop and a food court with items such as fast food, lasagna, wrap sandwiches, popcorn, coffee and fruit.

We Love This Place

I live north of Atlanta and travel to Birmingham to go to the McWane Center. It is Birmingham's best kept secret. My daughter loves to spend the day there and we always catch a movie at the Best IMAX in the south. Gread value for a day of family fun.
