This organization provides information on all aspects of Puerto Vallarta travel, and is funded through a tax on hotel occupancy. Among many activities, the staff provides an international information line to assist potential visitors to the city. While it focuses mainly on Canadian and U.S. tourists, it is expanding to increase its services to European and South American visitors. The staff is happy to send out brochures on lodging, events, restaurants, and convention facilities in or near Puerto Vallarta.
